Welcome to Day 1 of our FREE 21 Day Yoga Challenge

Welcome to our 21 Day Yoga Challenge. I’m so excited to have you join me in setting the intention to practice at least 5 minutes of yoga and at least 5 minutes of meditation per day. You’ll practice on your own, when it’s convenient for you and I will support you by offering yoga videos, audio meditations, tips for healthy living and fantastic recipes.

You are automatically signed up for the 21 Day Yoga Challenge IF you entered your email to follow my blog. If you are following my blog, you’ll get an email from me each day of the 21 Day Yoga Challenge. If you haven’t signed up for my blog, but would like to, go here: https://suzannemorganyoga.com/join-our-mailing-list/

No matter what type of yoga class I teach, I consider every class to be an “All Levels” class. Every student is unique in the body, mind and spirit. It’s the same with this yoga challenge. This may be your first exposure to yoga for some of you. Others might be yoga teachers. So keep in mind that some videos might be geared for new yogis and other videos for the seasoned yogi. It’s incredibly important that you honor your body and abilities without causing distress or judging yourself. I will give you lots of tools from the yoga toolbox, so to speak. Your mission is to become aware of speaks to you and works for you. Adopt those practices and let everything else go.

Here are a couple of notes about the yoga pose that I demonstrate in the video above. The physical benefits include:

  • relieving tension in the body, particularly the shoulders and neck
  • helps to lengthen the breath
  • stretches the muscles in the front of the chest and relaxes the upper back

The therapeutic benefits include:

  • of opening the heart center, deepening compassion and forgiveness for oneself and others
  • and calming/relaxing the mind and body.

I also want to share a link to some beautiful music that I found. You might like to listen to this when you are practicing today.

I’m so inspired and grateful to be of service to you.

Namaste,

Suzanne
