rabbit pose and tripod pose

Welcome to Day 20 of our 21 Day Yoga Challenge. I’m starting a brand new 21 Day Yoga Challenge on August 1, so if you missed this challenge or are ready for another, I’ll have all new material starting August 1.

In today’s video, I demonstrate rabbit pose and tripod pose. Both poses are inversions with weight-bearing on the head. Some of the benefits of these poses include:

  • reverses the flow of gravity in the body
  • floods the brain with oxygen and improves circulation
  • feeds the thyroid, pineal, adrenal, pituitary and hypothalamus glands and improves overall health & well-being
  • improves digestion
  • stretches and strengthens the muscles in the back, neck and abdominal area

If you have any neck or back injuries, high blood pressure or eye problems, then these poses are not recommended.

Try it and let me know how it goes.

Namaste,

Suzanne
