get ready for our 21 day yoga challenge – starts June 1

The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still).

The word solstice is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still).

It’s summer, the perfect time to commit to living a healthier, happier life. It’s not about getting it right or doing it perfectly. Consider adding more healthy choices just a bit at a time by practicing yoga, meditation and healthy living. To help you with your practice, I have a new 21 Day Yoga Challenge starting June 1, so get ready!

Why 21 days this time instead of 28 days? The 21st of June is auspicious because it’s the Summer Solstice, my absolute favorite day of the year. As a major celestial event, the Summer Solstice is the longest day and shortest night of the year. In Latin, solstice translates to sol = sun and sistere = to stand still. That’s an important reminder that we literally be still as well. We end the yoga challenge on day 21 in celebration of the abundance of life, light and summer.

Remember you can start at any time and please don’t judge yourself if you miss your practice. If you practice yoga and meditation one more day than you normally do, then that’s success.

In light & love,

Suzanne

  1. One of my favorite things about you, Suzanne, is your reminders that we dont have to be perfect or get it right. You open the space for people to simply be. Perfectly imperfect. And your creating that space provides so much for my desire to move forward and do better than I have thus far. A little reverse psychology, eh? ; ) Thank you for your loving approach!
